The order books
have been open for a month now, and some of you may have already gotten up
close and personal with it at the Glenmarie showroom or at 1 Utama, but it’s
now time to wrap things up – Nasim has officially launched the Peugeot 208 in
Malaysia, in five- (RM85,888) and three-door (RM95,888) guises. Prices are OTR
with insurance.
The Peugeot 207
successor gets its motivation from a 1.6 litre VTi engine that produces 122 PS
and 160 Nm of torque – 140 Nm of which is available from 2,000 rpm. Fuel
economy is rated at 6.7 litres per 100 km on a mixed cycle.
